The Calgary Flames have signed forward Chase Harrington to a three-year, entry-level contract, the NHL club announced Tuesday.
The deal carries an average annual value of US$1.075 million.
The Prince George, B.C., native was named captain of the Western Hockey League's Spokane Chiefs for 2026-27, opening his campaign with a goal, two assists and a fight to register a ‘Gordie Howe hat trick’ in a 3-2 win.
The 18-year-old led Spokane in 2025-26 with a career-best 57 points (28 goals, 29 assists). Harrington also led the team with 105 penalty minutes in 61 games.
Harrington played his first NHL pre-season game last Thursday against the Kraken in Seattle.
He was Calgary’s second-round pick (36th overall) in the 2026 NHL draft.
